Secure Online Ordering
To use the online ordering facility you must have cookies enabled on your browser. Cookies are used on this site to keep track of your basket ID only, and no other details are stored. The cookie is set to expire after 1 day.
Making an online purchase is easy. Just select from our catalogue the items you wish to buy and click the 'add to basket' button. The contents of your basket will then be displayed. If you wish to change the quantity of a particular item, simply amend the quantity for that item and then click the 'update basket' button. If you wish to remove items from your basket, click the 'Remove Item' check-box and then click the 'update basket' button. When you have selected all the items that you wish to purchase, click the 'checkout' button to complete the online order form with your delivery and payment details. We accept online payment by...When you place an order online, all the payment details you enter are encrypted using SSL technology before being sent over the Internet. This is the standard method for online shopping to prevent your personal information from being copied or intercepted while being transferred to our computer. On receipt of your order you will be transfered to the WorldPay online credit card payment facility. Your order details are stored in a secure IBM Lotus Domino database to keep them safe from hackers, and your credit card details are not held as clear text on any web site or computer connected directly to the Internet.
Offline Ordering
If you are not happy about using our secure online ordering facility we can accept your order by telephone. Simply complete and submit the online order form, but select "Offline Order" for the credit card type. Then call us on 08456 44 70 44 to arrange payment either by credit card or cheque (note: when the lines are busy you may get through to our support department. If this happens, simply ask for the Mini Model Shop and you will be transferred). Cheques should be made payable to Devansoft Limited and sent to: Devansoft Limited, 11 Riverside, Sir Thomas Longley Road, Medway City Estate, Strood, Kent, ME2 4DP. Items purchased by cheque will not be despatched until the funds clear.

Free Personalised Number Plates
We can supply printed personalised number plates for you to stick to your model completely free of charge. This service is only available for the larger scale models (1:18 and 1:24) or as indicated on the individual items in our catalogue. These number plates are printed on self-adhesive tape which you will need to cut to size and apply to the model. To request a personalised number plate simply specify the details when you complete the online order form (one set of plates per item ordered). Each number plate can be up to 8 characters in length (including spaces). If you are ordering multiple items and multiple number plates, please tell us which number plate goes with which model. Please remember that the plates we provide will be printed exactly as you specify on the order form so please check your typing!
Postage and Packing
All orders are sent First Class or by Courier depending on weight and size, and should normally be received within 3 working days of your order confirmation. Delivery is free of charge for orders over £200 (UK mainland only)! A charge of £5.99 per order applies to UK mainland orders (less for smaller packages). Items sent to any off-shore islands (inc. Northern Ireland) will be sent standard Royal Mail parcel post which will take longer to be delivered and may also incur a surcharge depending on the consignment weight. Multiple items sent to NON MAINLAND UK addresses and some parts of Scotland are subject to surcharges. If you require Courier delivery to non-mainland locations, please call us for a quotation. Please note that we are not able to guarantee any delivery times.
Back Orders
We only display items that we have in stock and on the shelf, however our website can be up to half an hour behind the stock level system. If by coincidence you order an item that has sold out in the last half, hour the item you purchased will be placed on back-order and despatched as soon as it arrives. You will be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait, in which case your credit card will be immediately refunded.
Mail List
We may on occasions send short marketing emails when new stock arrives. When you place an order you can opt to be included or excluded from our mail list. We do not pass on any customer details to anybody (including email addresses because we hate spam too!). Please feel free to contact us if you wish to be included in our mailing list, or if you have received an email and wish to be removed.
Representation
Although every effort is made to provide a detailed description of each item, this is only meant as a guide and we can not be held responsible for inaccurate information. Item pictures and photos shown on this website should be used as a guide only, as true colour representation is not guaranteed.
VAT Charges
Currently we are only able to accept orders made from the UK and these orders are subject to VAT at 17.5%. VAT is included in all prices listed on the web site.
Returns Policy
We will replace faulty goods with an identical replacement item or refund your money if the item is no longer available. Faulty items must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt and returned to us in their original, undamaged box within 14 days of receipt. They must not show any signs of 'wear and tear', damage or usage. All returned items must be securely packaged and a certificate of posting must be obtained from the Post Office. Replacement items or refunds will not be issued until the original item has been received by us. Any items returned because of a "change of mind" will need to be returned at your own expense (within 7 days of receipt) and we will only refund the cost of the model. Please call us on 08456 44 70 44 before returning any goods.
Please note: If you need to return an item to us because it has arrived damaged, please make sure you send it back to us using Parcel Post as this is the only carriage type that we will refund. Should you decide to use a different carriage type (eg. Special Delivery, Courier), you will only be refunded the equivalent Parcel Post carriage cost.
Radio Control: The majority of our radio control models come with a 3 month, manufacturers warranty (don't forget to register!) so if you have a technical issue with an item, your first call should be to the manfacturers support line. We will provide you with this number if necessary but it is normally on the warranty card or instruction sheet. PLEASE DO NOT return any RC items to us without prior authorisation as you will not be refunded.

Devansoft Limited will not disclose your personal details to any third party.
Scale Sizes
Die-cast models are manufactured to various scales based on measurements taken from the actual vehicles. The higher the scale, the smaller the model. Here is a rough guide to the size of model cars although this will vary depending on the size of the actual vehicle (i.e. a Mini is shorter than a Jaguar, and motorcycles will be roughly half the length of a car):
1:43 scale will be approximately 10cm long
1:24 scale will be approximately 15-25cm long
1:18 scale will be approximately 20-30cm long
1:12 scale will be approximately 30-40cm long
